A fun packed weekend

Well it was a fun-packed weekend at the McHam household! We all went to Open Gym on Friday and had a blast with Mrs. Gretchen and Elie. Tristan and Elie really enjoyed chasing after the giant exercise balls and sliding into the foam pit. Daddy is a little nervous that Tristan has his mommy's "irrational" fears - It took Tristan about 10 seconds to decide he wanted in the pit and it only took Mark 5 :) Tristan also really enjoyed this fish thingy. I'm not sure what you call it but it was definitely a winner.

Friday night we had another "Friday Night BBQ" (or as Gretchen likes to call it a "McHammy-Q"). The Crocker's, the Honeycutt's, and the Graeser's all came over. We had so much fun! The kids especially enjoyed the brisk temperature - I think they're like Chaos - They get frisky when it gets chilly outside!!!

On Saturday Mrs. Sara and Samuel came over for the day. We ate DELICIOUS chili that Mrs. Sara made and "had to get rid of" since they're moving next week (Boo hoo!). We were happy to help them out with the chili though. Tristan and Samuel had a great time playing in the back yard, hanging out at the park, and of course, snacking all day long. Samuel is the only kid I know that seems to rival Tristan's love for food.

Today is Sunday so we went to church and enjoyed another great sermon on the "Mythconceptions" of Christianity. Nick did another great job. Then Matt, Gretchen, & Elie came over for an afternoon of burgers on the grill, cookies, & ice cream. The kids had a great time playing in the dirt. Or I should say, Elie had a great time playing in the dirt and Tristan had a great time watching her :) !!
