Lazy weekend

Well we have had a good but lazy weekend. Sometimes those are desperately needed though! Poor Mark has had a cold so he's been holed up in the house. T and I have been in and out, going grocery shopping and trying to clean around the house. (BTW, am I the only mom that seems to think this is a never ending job?? My WHOLE house never looks good - sometimes only one or two rooms look "company ready"!)

Here is a picture of one of T's favorite new things to do, thanks to Auntie Jana :) He grabs something and makes this face and pretends (or sometimes tries!) to break it. Usually done with crackers or some other food but sometimes done with a bib, a pillow, or Elmo :) It's really funny. Sometimes he even shakes a little!

Also another new thing: Sucking on his index finger!!! We have tried sooooo hard to prevent this since so many people on my and Mark's side were thumb suckers and it seems like such a hard habit to break but every once in a while (usually in the car) I hear this "squelch squelch squelch" (LOUD!) and he's in the back seat just sucking away. Some Cheerios are usually enough to distract him but a few extra prayers wouldn't hurt either!
