On Saturday the grocery store was packed with frantic shoppers preparing for the upcoming Snow Storm 2011. I have to admit I was a little worried myself - Did we have enough milk? Enough coffee? Enough VODKA??? Everyone can rest easy though - It appears the snow is finally easing up :)
The excitement started around 7 this morning. Here we are getting ready to play:
Within thirty minutes we had a good inch - or at least enough to justify getting all bundled up and getting outside. It was very exciting!
The boys immediately jumped on their sled like this:
and proceeded to spend the next half hour "making tracks" up and down our sidewalk. T pulled Pierce the entire time! What a great big brother!
After that we took a much deserved hot chocolate break.
Oh yeah we're ready for some more. Well, most of us :) !
(actually Cassie had a GREAT time!)
